Berlin: Urban Analysis

This series of graphic drawings and analytical maps traces Berlin’s urban and architectural transformation across key moments in its history—from its expansion under the Greater Berlin Act to its division during the Cold War and eventual reunification. Created for ARCH 562: Constructing the Modern City, the project explores how political ideologies, war, and globalization have shaped Berlin’s spatial identity. Through visual mapping, the work investigates the layered evolution of Berlin’s infrastructure, city boundaries, and symbolic architecture, reflecting the city’s complex narrative as both a site of conflict and resilience.
